For Conor - A/V Light Installation

For Conor is an audio visual light installation created for Another Love Story.

Conor Walsh was an Irish composer who passes away suddenly in 2016. A friend of the festival and a musician we had wanted to work with this piece was created as a lovely tribute to a very talented individual. Set in an abandoned chapel in a forest on the ground of Killyon House, 'For Conor' was ran for the weekend of Another Love Story. The light sequence was programmed to run along side his music both of which played on continuous loop. The setting, the music and the lights created a space for people to come remember or to just enjoy, a space for reflection and conversation. The ambience changed quite dramatically from day to night.
