In our little corner of the walled garden, Momma Nature gets out her glad rags as she dons her Disco ball jacket & prepares to party with her very own light show.
Mixing & mashing nature with electronics, cutting edge technology and recycled materials, the Garden of Disco is a light installation for wander & wonder. Fall in love in her glow or hide away in her shadow, come with us and trip the light fantastic.
Consisting of 8 8 foot 3 sided LED poles, 12 LED jam jars and of course one lucky tree wrapped in it's own disco ball jacket, the installation lit up it's corner of the walled garden in Ballinlough Castle. While the poles encircled the tree the jam jars hung like low hanging fruit. It ran for the weekend playing a 6 minute programmed light sequence on a continuous loop.
